Jarrod Shoemaker - 2008 US Olympian, Professional Triathlete
Jarrod Shoemaker has dreamed of a chance to compete in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China for a long time. He realized that dream late last summer when he was the top American finisher at the 2007 ITU World Cup event in Beijing.
A successful runner in both high school and college, Jarrod has reached the upper echelon of triathlon in only a couple of seasons. His amazing dedication and determination have paid big dividends winning the 2005 U23 World Champion title and a spot on the US Elite National Team every season since. Jarrod has proven himself to be one of the top prospects to reach the podium at he Beijing Olympics this summer.
