| Top finishes for Rolf Prima at IM Boise 70.3 |
Thunderstorms were predicted for the afternoon start but it turned out to be an awesome day for racing at the 2011 Ironman 70.3 Boise. Among the pro field were six Rolf Prima athletes primed to race: Heather Wurtele, Trevor Wurtele, Jesse Thomas, Chris Bagg, Guy Crawford and Kate Bevilaqua.
If there was one thing everyone could agree on, it was that the water was cold: 53°F. Everyone’s goal was to spend as little time in it as possible. In the women’s field, Heather Wurtele was second out of the water at 27:30 and made quick work of the bike course with a split of 2:25:01. Read the full race recap. |
