New USA-Made Hub Platform
Eugene, OR - Rolf Prima is partnering with premier component manufacturer, White Industries of Petaluma, CA, to produce a proprietary new hub design for all of its 2004 wheel systems. The new hub will incorporate Rolf's patented differential flange diameter™ and zero-offset spoke drilling™ with White Industries' proven internal mechanism. The hubs will feature large diameter axles for added stiffness and precision sealed bearings with adjustable bearing end-play on both the front and rear hubs.
"Not only is White Industries known for producing quality, precision bicycle components in the USA, they are located just down the road from us in Northern California.," says Blair Winter, Rolf Prima's sales manager.
Rolf Dietrich is the inventor of the paired-spoke bicycle wheel design. Rolf Prima wheel systems are protected by numerous patents in the US and other countries with several non-exclusive license agreements in force. Every Rolf Prima wheel system is hand-built in Eugene, Oregon.
