Vigor Wheels in Silver Again for 2008
Eugene, OR – Rolf Prima’s best-selling wheel that changed the way people think about lightweight aerodynamic category wheel systems is now available in a second color choice - all-silver with highly polished US-made hubs. An all-black version of the Vigor is still available and features new chrome decal artwork for 2008.
The silver Vigor looks totally different on a bike frame than the popular black version. It’s reminiscent of the first Vigor wheel model we introduced back in the fall of 2002 and gives riders the ability to match their wheels to their bike frame’s color scheme. ” – says Brooke Bauer, Rolf Prima’s inside sales representative. “Consumers ask us all the time for the old silver Vigors because they think they look better on some of the darker bike frames, so I know they’ll be popular”.
The entire Vigor family of wheel systems feature new rim designs with CNC-machined brake sidewalls for 2008. The new rim designs are stiffer and offer additional impact strength which significantly increases the service life of the wheel system. The lighter, Vigor-SL model and the slightly tougher Vigor-RS model are only available in black for 2008.
