Jarrod Shoemaker takes 4th in the Amica Championships
The Amica triathlon series held their final championships this past Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona. Held in Lake Pleasant State Park the athletes couldn't have asked for nicer weather.
With a solid start, Shoemaker was the second out of the water and behind the leader by less than 10-seconds. Holding strong in the bike, the course gave all a challenge with its very hilly terrain. Shoemaker entered the run with tired legs and time to make up. Pushing hard he was able to make up some of that needed time. With a 16:10 finish, shoemaker took the fasted run for the day and fourth overall.
