Project London 2012 riders named to USA Cycling Track Olympic Long Team
Portland, Oregon - December 15, 2011: USA Cycling released the Track Olympic Long Team today, naming 8 elite men as eligible for final selection to the 2012 Olympic Team. Among the nominees were 4 of Project London 2012’s members: Michael Blatchford, Kevin Mansker, Dean Tracy and Jimmy Watkins.
In 2011 Blatchford, Mansker, Tracy and Watkins have been members of Team USA. Project London 2012 riders have competed in a wide range of international events including the Pan-American Championships, Pan-American Games, UCI World Cups and the UCI World Championships.
