Tristan Schouten to ride Rolf Prima mountain bike wheels

Eugene, OR – Rolf Prima has recently launched their Ralos mountain bike wheels for the 2012 season and perennial cyclocross and MTB contender, Tristan Schouten will be racing the 26” version. Tristan, best known as the hardest working man in the Pro cyclocross field, has dominated the Midwest mountain bike scene. Still a bit of a dark horse to some, Tristan holds four overall titles in Wisconsin’s WORS series – the largest in the US, and podium placements in many of the major Midwest pro fields.

Unlike many of his competitors, Tristan still holds a full time job, creating a delicate balance between training, working and playing dad to his two young daughters. “We’ve been working with Tristan on the cyclocross side for two years already. While most of the top pro’s are relaxing before races, Tristan is working swing shift and then sprinting to the tarmac to catch his flight to the race. What’s not to love about that kind of racer?” says Rolf Prima’s Brooke Bauer. “We all race at Rolf Prima – maybe just a tad slower than Tristan- but we completely identify with his style. He is a perfect fit for us. Quiet, diligent and fast as hell”.

Tristan will be racing on the new Rolf Prima Ralos6 XC mountain bike wheels for this coming season and be looking to defend his title at the 2012 WORS Championships.
